Palm oil is a product with an international growing market due to its uses in different industries such as cosmetics, paint, oleochemistry and biofuels. In Colombia, its production levels have been increasing with higher quality products with more technological processes, placing it in the fifth place in the world, that is why the companies of the sector are in search of markets to direct these improvements, particularly the food industry has great potennal due to the various health benefits of its use in fried foods, patisseries, margarines and spreads, besides the possibility offered in special preparations because of its high oleic degree and its particular color which allows it to participate in exotic and gourmet receipes, taking into account these characteristics, the comparues are looking for opportunities that allow them to exploit its differentiatron in markets of other countries.
