- The intervention entitled: “I read, I understand, and I learn" is developed with the aim or improving reading comprehension processes for students of 401 of the Hunza District School in Suba. This proposal was originated from the needs and problems of classroom specifically focused on the language subject. lt focuses on the appropriated handling of the multimodal text used as a didactic resource and a motivating factor for children that allows them to awaken greater interest and affiliation towards reading. It was applied through the development of reading workshops where the starting point is the visualization or videos, internet pages or films to then perform various tasks where the different cognitive strategies are trained, which are a fundamental aspect to develop the comprehension and interpretation of texts. The execution was in the classroom, the workshops were carried out in three phases and collection instruments were used to measure the results achieved and systematize the experience. Satisfactory results were obtained with advances evidenced through the preparation of the final portfolio of each student, where products of authorship of the children were obtained, which are projected to generate an impact in cycle two, with a view to complementing with the inclusion of other subjects and Sustainability or the intervention.
