- The department of mathematics of Gimnasio los Andes shows that it has a difficulty in the performance indicators related to the results in standardized tests and designed under the model based on evidences, which give reason far the knowledge, skills ar competences of the students under the context of sorne evidence. Having said these difficulties, the mathematics department reviews the curricular structure, where it detects difficulties in the assessment. Note that the evaluation moments of the department are restricted to the average of activities which are not in balance with the evaluation criteria that are the five mathematics lessons. According to this the department of mathematics of the Gymnasium los andes designs a new proposal of qualification system that involves its moments of evaluation with the five criteria of evaluation. The present work evaluates the system of qualification of the students in the subject of mathematics in the Gymnasium the Andes in front of its relation with the learning of the students and the development of competitions, making use of the evaluative model CIPP proposed by Stufflebeam and Schinkfield (1987 ).
