The purpose of the project is to know the structuring phase and the feasibility of the entrepreneurship for a company that sells cleaning products incorporating new technologies at the institutional level.

The Latin American population in Sweden has been increasing, and Colombians accounted for 17-24 % of the total migrant population in the last 5 years. In migration, acculturation is a process where individual changes take place as a result of contact with other culturally dissimilar people, which is known by influencing positively or negatively the health status of immigrants. Different studies have examined migration and health status, health access and barriers of consultation. However, there is a lack of information regarding immigrants’ attitudes towards health services and the influence on health-seeking behaviors. The aim was to explore the attitudes and experiences that Colombian immigrants had in their first interaction with the primary healthcare center (Vårdcentral). More specifically, it sought to explore differences or similarities in the attitudes and experiences of the Swedish healthcare system compared those from Colombia. Consequently, eight semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted with Colombian immigrants living in the south of Sweden using a snowball-sampling technique. A qualitative manifest and a latent content analysis were used for the analysis and interpretation of results. Three themes emerged from the analysis: ‘The language: playing the same game’, referred to the relevance of language providing autonomy and connecting with the new context. ‘The Swedish healthcare system: The disillusion when starting over’, referred to the contrasting perceptions of immigrants in their first interaction with the Vårdcentral, indicating a shock that made them change their health-seeking behaviors. ‘Acculturation is like going on a long pathway’: described the transition of personal thoughts and actions with the healthcare system, which constituted steps in the process of adapting to the Swedish Culture. Acculturation is a complex process that includes encounters with the healthcare system. Interventions, in healthcare, that facilitate immigrants to better adjust to a new society are required in order to ensure the acceptation of attitudes and practices leading to gains in health and well-being.

Esta investigación surgió del examen riguroso de la realidad institucional del colegio Bosanova, lnstitución Educativa Distrital, ubicada en la localidad séptima de Bosa, donde se identificó la necesidad de establecer la conexión y conveniencia de la propuesta educativa con el contexto y las necesidades de los estudiantes. En este proceso, se hizo aplicación de los lineamientos teóricos-prácticos de la maestría en educación. Por ende, se desarrolló un análisis curricular para determinar la pertinencia y coherencia del plan de estudios respecto al horizonte institucional y al enfoque pedagógico Enseñanza para la Comprensión. Se procedió a la consulta de antecedentes y el establecimiento de marcos de referencia (contextual, legal y teórico) que orientó y sustentó la propuesta investigativa. En consecuencia, se desarrolló un proceso de investigación cualitativa que permitió determinar que, aunque hay un acercamiento al marco conceptual del enfoque pedagógico, este no constituye el derrotero de acción del quehacer docente en el aula; de igual manera, los docentes tienen un nivel de apropiación del horizonte institucional, no obstante, no constituye un insumo vital para los procesos de planeación y desarrollo curricular.

El Estado colombiano ha desarrollado una serle de acciones públicas alrededor de la generación de ingresos para confrontar la problemática del desplazamiento de mujeres, lograr su empoderamiento económico y eliminar las desigualdades y diferentes formas de discriminación con respecto a los hombres. En función de la cronología alrededor de la Ley 1448 de 2011, se evidencia que la política pública de atención al desplazamiento formulada por el gobierno colombiano ha surtido una serie de reestructuraciones, en la medida en que diversos actores de la rama legislativa y judicial han intervenido a través de los instrumentos de política pública. Lo cierto es que desde 1990 al 2018, se han elaborado varios documentos técnicos con criterios gubernamentales, que por diferentes vías han intentado solucionar el desplazamiento y entre ello se han incluido aspectos sobre las mujeres y la generación de ingresos. De acuerdo con esto, en la presente investigación se realiza un análisis del grado de coherencia que existe en la acción pública frente a la generación de ingresos de las mujeres víctimas de desplazamiento, a partir de la Ley 1448 de 2011; partiendo de la distinción entre el "análisis de" y "análisis para" la política pública.

Ship-source oil spills are amongst the major sources of oil affecting coastal areas. An end-to-end marine oil spill analysis may provide a model to better allocate response resources or prepare contingency plans for highly vulnerable zones. A consequence assessment, a key aspect of this type of analysis which considers economic, social and environmental aspects of a geographic area, is presented in this study as a GIS index tool, which can be applied in the context of Atlantic Canada. A theoretical framework and conceptual model is developed based on a literature review of oil spill state-of-the-art analysis using Exploratory Network Analysis; and tested on a realistic case study (Halifax Harbour, NS). The novel approach for reviewing the literature provided sound criteria for the conceptual model, which fits the end-to-end marine oil spill analysis, segregating elements regarding exposure and oil behaviour. Furthermore, oil spill management indicators were tailored using expertise from Atlantic Canada’s oil spill responders, and many gaps were identified to potentially refine the model later. Finally, this model considers the range of aspects that influence the consequences of a ship-based oil spill, using readily available information and considering relevant stakeholder’s interests.

This dissertation aims to make an evaluation of the relationship between development and climate change mitigation policies within developmental states, specifically a comparison between China and Brazil. Developmental states are those countries focused on obtaining economic growth through developmentally driven policies. Traditionally, climate change mitigation and environmental protection have been seen as obstacles to development. However, as climate change is a global issue which requires domestic response, countries are required to act locally in order to mitigate carbon emissions into the atmosphere and reduce their reliance on fossil fuels. Developing countries, such as China and Brazil, are heavily dependent on carbon consumption to promote development and economic growth. For this reason, international pressure has been focused on these countries to reduce CO2 emissions, threatening their future development. Furthermore, it examines Brazil and China’s climate policies in light of developmental state guidance. So far what has been found is that climate policies have been relevant to the same extent as they contribute to economic growth and social development.China has envisioned the clean energy industry as a business opportunity capable of generating new jobs and exporting technology. Interests mainly focused on other issues independent to those of climate variability mitigation. Brazil, on the other hand, has relied on the promotion of biofuels as an alternative industry to the use of oil. By adopting ethanol and biodiesel as substitutes for fossil fuels, the government has been able to promote the country’s economic development and position itself as the world’s main producer. Similar to China, mitigation actions are generally implemented as long as there are other interests involved. Furthermore, when there is conflict of interests with environmental policies in both countries, they have acted as developmental states, prioritising development over policies of climate mitigation.Adrian Leftwich’s developmental state model was published in the early 1990s, to further address Chalmers Johnson’s interpretation of the Japanese economic miracle. Nonetheless, Leftwich’s characterisation of developmental states was thought to define a model exclusive to the Asia-Pacific region. This dissertation will apply Leftwich’s model, by adapting it to contemporary China and Brazil, two countries deliberately excluded from the developmental state model, but who now days represent the political context that Leftwich had in mind. In addition, the developmental state model allows a broader interpretation to the current policies implemented by the above mentioned countries, specifically on climate change related issues.

Theoretically it could be determined that the climate organizational analyses phenomena occurring globally in the company, giving a view of the atmosphere of the company. This research allowed to understand the organizational climate and its impact on job satisfaction of workers. The behavior of the variables was identified as the style ofleaders hip, decision making the feedback which mus take over all strategic levels and itsatti ution in the organizational climate and job satisfaction of enployees of the company mining Texas Colombia. This research was conducted under a mixed approach were used techniques both of quantitative and qualitative methodology. He worked from a perspective in which validity of the revision of aspects such as the perceptions and opinions of the worker was obtained improvement plan focused on the design of policies and programmes lhat involve to the worker and the organization to promete a culture based on corporate values and thus strengthening corporate responsibility program.

The objective of this research is to characterize the School Climate of the classroom fom the perspective of the sixth grade students of the Liceo de Cervantes Norte de Bogota, emphasizing the appreciation that students have of their school and if this perception is related in a representative way with academic performance expressed in school performance. The specific objectives are focused on describing the current school climate of the school, analyzing the dimensions of the school climate and its possible relationship with academic performance based on the scale of grades of the first three months of 2017. All this based on the scale of qualifications established by the school. Finally, suggestions and recommendations are made based on the determined findings. For this investigative exercise, a qualitative research has been implemented, questionnaires and interviews have been designed. Initially, the illustration of social interaction in the classroom is exposed, as well as the agents and factors that intervene in the school climate of the classroom. Likewise, in the theoretical framework, the methodology used is described, in which participants are mentioned, the research models used, as well as data collection, analysis and discussion.

Esta investigación acción se centra en el impacto que tuvo el diseño y la implementación de talleres basados en el enfoque de aprendizaje integrado de contenidos en lenguas extranjeras y la instrucción de estrategias de lectura para fomentar la comprensión de lectura en estudiantes principiantes en la universidad Manuela Beltrán. Este estudio está basado en tres constructos: diseño de materiales, CLIL y lectura (estrategias de lectura y comprensión de lectura). La implementación se llevó a cabo con los estudiantes de segundo semestre de los programas de fisioterapia y enfermería. Se desarrollaron seis talleres con base en el enfoque CLIL y cinco estrategias de lectura: predecir, conectar, hacer inferencias, responder preguntas y resumir. La recolección de datos se llevó a cabo por medio de tres instrumentos: artefactos de los estudiantes, diarios de campo y entrevista de los grupos focales. Los hallazgos revelaron que el uso de estrategias de lectura facilitó el proceso de comprensión de lectura de los estudiantes. Además, se concluyó que el diseño de materiales basados en temas relacionados con fisioterapia y enfermería tuvo un impacto positivo en los estudiantes ya que no solo mejoraron su nivel de inglés, sino que también ampliaron su conocimiento sobre su campo profesional

La formación de las literaturas nacionales latinoamericanas fue un hecho político surgido a raíz de sus nuevas identidades culturales, que buscaban voluntariamente diferenciarse tanto de las metrópolis como de los países limítrofes. Este volumen replantea el compromiso político de las letras latinoamericanas y aporta lecturas plurales sobre el tema.
