- The research evaluates the relevance of the teacher training program of the Enseña por Colombia organization, based on the needs and lifestyle of the ECO teachers (Enseño por Colombia) on the Barú Península, a region threatened by social vulnerability As an investigation of relevance, and following the objectives, the evaluation is based on the identification of the training needs of teachers in the rural area where they work; lt characterizes the Enseña por Colombia training program and compares the training received for the teachers regarding their educational needs and practice. lt throws conclusions and recommendations for the improvement of the program in terms of a contextualized teacher training. The research is organized in five chapters: in the first, the problem, the question, the objectives and the justification are introduced; in the second, the theoretical and normative framework is presented; the third exposes the methodological design and, in the fourth, the analysis of the results. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations are formulated in the light of the results.
