Concierto celebrado por Harold Martina. Martina nació en Curazao, Antillas Holandesas. De niño recibió sus primeras lecciones de música con los profesores Patrick y Teun Don. Continuó sus estudios de piano con Annamaria Pennella en el Instituto de Bellas Artes de Medellín, donde obtuvo su grado Cum Laude como concertista. Realizó estudios de perfeccionamiento con el profesor Richard Hauser en la afamada Academia de Música de Viena. Allí se graduó Summa Cum Laude por voto unánime. Era la primera vez que se otorgaba dicha distinción en esta academia, recibiendo un premio especial del gobierno de Austria. En 1975 fue condecorado por la Reina Juliana de Holanda con la Orden Orange-Nassau. En 1980 realizó una gira. De conciertos con la Orquesta de Cámara de Holanda bajo la dirección del maestro David Zimman, en 1984 con el violinista Frank Preuss en Alemania y en 1986 con el violinista Rony Rogoff, por el Japón. Alterna su actividad como concertista con una fructífera labor pedagógica en Medellín, ciudad donde reside y en otras ciudades del país.
