"La vida es sueño" es una obra de teatro en español escrita por Pedro Calderón de la Barca. Fue publicada por primera vez en 1636 en dos ediciones diferentes, la primera en Madrid y la segunda en Zaragoza. Don W. Cruickshank y varios otros críticos creen que la obra puede datarse alrededor de 1630, lo que convierte a la obra más famosa de Calderón en una composición bastante temprana. Se trata de una alegoría filosófica sobre la condición humana y el misterio de la vida.
