El escritor Mario Mendoza incursiona en la novela gráfica con un guion de su autoría de su novela más exitosa: Satanás. Lo hace de la mano del talentoso Keco Olano, quien se encargó de ilustrar la historia de Campo Elías Delgado, el veterano de Vietnam que mató a casi una treintena de personas en diferentes lugares de Bogotá. La capital colombiana cobra vida y se vuelve protagonista del relato porque es el lúgubre escenario en el que el mal entreteje el destino del asesino con el de un sacerdote exorcista, un pintor que plasma sus extrañas visiones proféticas en sus cuadros y una 'tomasera', una mujer que utiliza sus encantos para seducir hombres en los bares, drogarlos y robarlos. Este es el abreboca del nuevo camino que tomará Mario, quien a partir de 2020 se concentrará en la publicación de una trilogía de novelas gráficas titulada El fin de los tiempos.
