Acclaimed creator Kaoru Mori's tale of life on the nineteenth-century Silk Road continues. Camera in tow, Smith retraces his journey to photograph the people and places that have come to mean so much to him. Though he has vast ground to cover, the inevitable delays of travel afford Smith an opportunity to rest and reflect. On Amir and Karluk, who have since sought the tutelage of Karluk's hardy brother-in-law. On Pariya, struggling to complete the elaborate embroideries for her dowry. On the young, energetic twin brides, Laila and Leily. On the grand mansion that is to be the first stop on his return journey... Crafted in painstaking detail, Ms. Mori's pen breathes life into the scenery and architecture of the period in this heartwarming, slice-of-life tale that is at once wholly exotic yet familiar and accessible through the everyday lives of the characters she has created.

The only son of an American diplomat, Rocket travels from city to city with his monkey Screech, never staying in one place long enough to call it home, but when Rocket finds a strange note written in Egyptian hieroglyphs, he stumbles into an adventure more incredible than anthing he's ever dreamt of. With the help of Screech and a new friend--a gypsy girl named Nuri--Rocket navigates the secret underworld of Cairo. In order to stop him, Rocket and Nuri will have to decode an ancient riddle, solve a cryptic puzzle, face hungry crocodiles, and navigate a centuries-old labyrinth full of traps--all while staying one step ahead of Otto's blood thirsty goons. All Max wants to do with his life is make comics, and all his parents do is discourage him. His life takes a turn for the hopeful when a mysterious recluse, a Parisian comics veteran, buys a ruined chateau in the woods near Max's house. His appearance is echoed by the arrival of a mysterious peddler with a printing press in the medieval village of Max's comic, in which a monk is busily spinning a tale of Max's daughter Suzie, all grown up and an illustrator in her own right. Tales nest in tales in Alexandre Clerisse's dizzyingly intricate musing on creation.

One Line
Comprised entirely of double-page spreads split into eighteen panels, with each panel featuring one character's life, cartoonist Ray Fawkes' master work One Soul crafted eighteen linear stories into one non-linear masterpiece. Nominated for the 2012 Eisner Award in the Graphic Album: New category, One Soul was a groundbreaking work that helped establish him as one of the most unique creative voices in contemporary comics. As One Soul followed eighteen people from birth until death, showcasing their common joys and pains as well as their unique experiences, One Line follows eighteen families through four centuries, showing how traditions, ethics, and prejudices are handed down from generation to generation. Some families will interact, some will join together, some will remain alone. Some will persist, and some will die out.
