Concierto interpretado por Malcolm Frager. Este artista, uno de los más requeridos internacionalmente, nació en St. Louis (Estados Unidos). Inició sus estudios de piano a la edad de cuatro años. Su primer recital lo realizó a los seis, y su debut con orquesta cuatro años después, interpretando el concierto No. 17, K. 453 de Mozart, con la Orquesta Sinfónica de St. Louis dirigida por Vladimir Golschmann. Ha actuado en casi todos los centros musicales del mundo, con los principales organismos sinfónicos y dirigidos por los más importantes directores de orquesta. Concierto presentado en el marco del Festival Internacional de Piano "Bogota 450 Años". Interpretó obras de Joseph Haydn, Carl María von Weber y Johannes Brahms.

Concierto interpretado por Rodrigo Valencia quien inició sus estudios musicales en Buga (Valle) hasta la adolescencia. Ingresa después al Conservatorio de Cali, donde estudia por cuatro años consecutivos, obteniendo el "Diploma en Estudios Básicos Musicales" y obteniendo diversos premios, entre otros el Primer Premio en Música de Cámara con el Maestro Wolfgang Schneider. Ha ejecutado numerosos conciertos de órgano en las principales Basílicas y Catedrales de Italia, entre ellas Roma, Florencia, Prato, Vallombrosa, La Spezia, Riccione, Pescara, Viterbo, Poggibonsi. En este concierto interpretó obras de Olivier Messiane, Roberto Pineda-Duque y Jesús Guridi.

En esta oportunidad se presentarán los intérpretes Guillermo lsaza, Juan Miguel Celis, Lupercio Barbosa, Jaime Arias Obregón. En esta ocasión interpretaron obras de A. Scarlatti y Johann Sebastian Bach.

El Cuarteto de Cuerdas Endellion está considerado como uno de los más refinados cuartetos de cuerdas en el campo internacional. Ha actuado frecuentemente en los Estados Unidos desde su fundación, así como en el Lejano Oriente y Suramérica, y visitado regularmente las grandes ciudades europeas, incluyendo entre ellas Amsterdam, París, Berlín, Frankfurt, Colonia, Munich, Zurich, Ginebra, Salzburgo y Roma. El Banco de la República queriendo resaltar la celebración del aniversario de la Sala de conciertos escogió al prestigioso Cuarteto Endellion de Inglaterra precisamente para la interpretación de los 16 cuartetos de Ludwig van Beethoven (17 en realidad con la Gran Fuga), máxima expresión de la música de cámara, género para el cual fue diseñada esta Sala. Este el sexto concierto.
