This document presents a documentary research in order to describe the influence of self-regulated learning in written production. Self-regulated learning it's an emerging field hat integrates the following elements: cognition, metacognition, motivation and wrritten production in their stages: planning, transcription and review. The results are analyzed and integrated according to the research categories adding a pedagogical component regarding the teaching role in the teaching of self-regulated learning.

Esta tesis se encamina a un estudio que presenta la propuesta de meta-evaluación del Modelo Integral de Autoevaluación de la Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito. A partir de este ejercicio se pretende que el resultado entregado a esta institución se constituya en la base para la aplicación de la meta-evaluación de los diferentes procesos de autoevaluación que allí se realizan, bien sea en el marco de la renovación del Registro Calificado o de la acreditación por primera vez y renovación a nivel institucional y de programas; y así pueda completarse la última fase que solo quedó enunciada en dicho Modelo, contribuyendo de esta manera a su mejoramiento continuo.

El planteamiento del problema de investigación, se presenta descrito el problema de investigación y antecedentes relacionados con la consolidación de una cultura de autoevaluación asociada a la cultura de la calidad que apoya la mejora continua en la Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia. Se delimita la pregunta y el objetivo de esta investigación para establecer el grado de apropiación de esta cultura descrita en la comunidad que pertenece a la seccional Bogotá. Se establecen objetivos específicos para determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre autoevaluación y los cambios en las habilidades y actitudes que denoten apropiación de la misma. Asimismo, el último objetivo específico se orienta en formular recomendaciones para lograr esta consolidación desea como resultado de esta investigación evaluativa. Parte del marco conceptual está concentrado en definir para esta investigación lo entendido como autoevaluación, cultura de autoevaluación y, por otra parte, encontrar coherencia con lo asociado a cultura organizacional. Además, se explica el modelo de evaluación utilizado para esta investigación (Cuatro niveles). El diseño metodológico se detalla el enfoque cualitativo de tipo etnográfico bajo un estudio de caso con el ánimo de interpretar significados culturales desde la perspectiva de los participantes. Se señalan las categorías de análisis establecidas e instrumentos de recolección de información validados (observación participante, revisión documental y grupos focales). El análisis y los resultados son presentados desde la interpretación, triangulación y discusión de los resultados son analizados a la luz de los objetivos, modelo de evaluación y marco de referencia mediante herramientas como la teoría fundamentada y la codificación axial. Finalmente, entre las conclusiones se puede resaltar que la cultura de autoevaluación eleva su grado de apropiación a medida que surten procesos de acreditación de alta calidad y son reconocidos socialmente mediante actos administrativos nacionales. Por otra parte, se recomienda principalmente, la articulación de estrategias de participación con la ejecución de planes de mejoramiento correlacionados al plan de desarrollo institucional.
