Imágenes femeninas del cine silente colombiano, 1924-1926, es un estudio desde la perspectiva de género y la sociología de la cultura que analiza los estereotipos femeninos de acuerdo a la estructura narrativa de las películas: Alma provinciana (1926), Bajo el cielo antioqueño (1925), y fragmentos del Film Madre (1924), teniendo en cuenta el contexto histórico de la década de 1920. El abordaje al objeto de estudio del cine silente colombiano se realiza desde una metodología conceptual de género y sociológica que examina las películas con un método inductivo-crítico.
