Webster's first day of high school goes off the rails when he ends up at a back-alley rumble . . . FOR UNDERGROUND SPELLING! (What??) He's dubbed the Golden Kid, and from that moment on he's drawn into the world of underground spelling bees, where letters fly like shurikens and defeat is never an option. His talent is recognized by the mysterious and dashing Outlaw King, Khan, and the suave and plucky Black Queen, Bonnie, and they introduce to him the new challenge of no-holds-barred competitive spelling. First released in 2013 by writer Ananth Hirsh (Lucky Penny) and artist Tess Stone (Not Drunk Enough), this new color edition comes with new cover art, freshly colored interiors (new colors by Fen Garza), and bonus material from the creators. Read and reread the frenetic tale of spelling bee battles, friendship, and the discovery of self-worth! As the Outlaw King says, "Word is bond."

Penultimate Quest
"What begins as a twisty fantasy adventure ends as a call to action." -- SCHOOL LIBRARY JOURNAL, Starred Review "Utterly surprising in its construction and philosophical scope." -- BOOKLIST, Starred Review "Complex, challenging, and ultimately rewarding." -- KIRKUS "Why are we going down there, anyway; some mystery to uncover, treasure to find? Why are we here?" Far across the Western Ocean on a mist-shrouded island guarded by giant sea monsters, heroes come to explore the mysterious dungeons that lie below the surface. None have yet to reach the bottom and return to tell the tale. Each party gathers daily for a new round of potion-making, sword-sharpening, armor-buying, and dungeon-crawling, and after hours of leveling up in dangerous battles with monstrous creatures from the depths, they rest and try again the next day when everything repeats. That is, until one adventurer stops to ask why. Is it endlessly exciting, or simply endless? In a witty, genre-defying tale of magic, mystery, and philosophy, brave warriors must learn the difference between diversion and escape as they try to break the cycle of a penultimate quest in which the final fantasy never arrives.

Andrzej Sapkowski's The Witcher: The Edge of the World
A devilish tale full of shocking twists is presented in this graphic novel adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski's original short story. Work is hard to come by for Geralt and with Dandelion, not a subject for his rhymes or ballads. As they travel to the edge of the known world, townsfolk speak of many stories but it seems that's all they are--recitals of monsters and superstition--until a man follows Geralt with news of a devil scavenging the local fields. Rid the beast, but under no condition is he to be killed. Only how can Geralt hunt the creature, for there is no such things as devils . . . This graphic novel is the third in a series of adaptations from Sapkowski's acclaimed short story collection The Last Wish!
