The parents of were-rat Lydia Iceron, leaders of the were-rat clan, recently engineered their own demise after assuring that Lydia was properly trained to survive their absence, and she had two friends whom she could trust absolutely. Now Lydia has inherited the Throne of Shadows, which allows its rightful heir to read underling minds. However, she doesn't want the throne or its power - she'd prefer to take the money and run with her friends Moisha and Romeo. Worse still, several former members of the Crime Syndicate-X organization do want it, and are willing to cause Lydia and her friends any amount of pain and suffering to get it!

Peegi creates AI model personifications of "Reality" and "Physics", to gals who are at first helpful and encouraging to Gina, who is surprised at their appearance initially (and delighted at their encouragement). But then when Gina starts to "feel herself", they turn into sniggering, trolling hecklers who don't cut Gina an inch of slack! Gina quickly changes her opinion of these two "helpful" A.I. personas. Too bad she can't find their exact location in her core computer's memory!
