Growing up, Tsukushi Tsukamoto never had an athletic bone in his body, but now, in his first year at the prestigious Seiseki High School, he finds himself in their world-class soccer club! At his first inter-high-school training camp, Tsukushi's characteristic can-do spirit finds him leading the way for Seiseki. Little by little, he wins them over and earns their acceptance as one of their own. Then, at the Japan Inter-High-School Championship regional preliminaries, the official blows the whistle, and the game starts...along with Tsukushi's life as a true soccer player!
