The research focuses on reading comprehension as a main process in the school environment, particularly, in 7th grade. This process is connected to information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Learning and Knowledge Technology (LKT) resources. The aspects of reading comprehension explored were vocabulary and expressions linked to the text context, events and social situations described in the text and their potential link to the students' contexts, the author's intentionality and the students' stances to these events and situations. The TIC-TAC resources used were graphic organizers, the digital cartoon story, and the digital poster. Results show that the incorporation of TIC-TAC resources in this process fostered collaborative work, a deeper reading comprehension and the construing of students' stances to the events narrated and their connection to their own context.
